Show Lifting of Runway Restrictions, New Schedule Improves Frontier Outlook Total lifting of restrictions on Canyonlands Airport and new schedules effective March 1 by Frontier Airlines means better days ahead for Moab area air travlcrs, it was announced an-nounced this week by Tim Mulville, station manager for Frontier at Canyonlands. Now, however, the flights should come and go as scheduled, with few problems being encountered due to weather. An afternoon and evening flight, leaving Moab at 2:24 p.m., arrives in Denver at 4:44 p.m. The evening flight leaves at 8:29, considerably earlier than it is now leaving, leav-ing, and will connect with the Boing 727 jot in Grand Junction Junc-tion which arrives in Denver at 9:55 p.m. The Convair 5c3 which leaves Moab at 8:29, will continue from . Grand Junction on to Salt Lake City. Returning passengers from Denver and Salt Lake City will arrive in Moab at 9:17 a.m. That flight, after stopping stop-ping at Moab, will continue on to Albuquerque, arriving there at 11:58 p.m. Mr. Mulville, who has been station manager at Moab only since mid-winter, stated that he was delighted with the new schedule and particularly particu-larly with the lifting of year-old year-old landing restrictions. . Dependability De-pendability in services has been impossible to develop with the restrictions in force, and he is now hopeful that passengers will again be planning plan-ning their trips from . the Moab airport. |
