Material Arriving af Seven-Mile Siding For San Juan County Power Line Job terials have been arrival arriv-al the Seven Mile rail ng north of Moab for a h Power & Light Co. cer line that will extend n the LaSal Substation Lisbon Valley to Monti- cello. This project, wliieh will result in 27 miles of line, will cost UFSL an estimated $1.2 million. When completed it will upgrade service in Southeastern South-eastern Utah to take care of anticipated growth in the area. Work on the line will be done by Wasatch Electric with IT&L doing work on the construction of a substation sub-station at Montieello and enlargement en-largement work which must be done at the large substation sub-station in Moab. Capacity of the new linn will be 138.000 volts and will connect with already existing lines to 9erve the oil fields south of Montieello. At this time there is a line that extends ex-tends from Moab into the oil fields. This new power facility fa-cility will improve service to the fieldj. The Usbon line is the smaller of two that are slated slat-ed to bo constructed in th's area in the near future. The other, a $27.5 million trans-Utah trans-Utah project, will cross this area en route to its terminus at Farmirfgton.
