Show Masonic Crowd Enjoys Annual Birthday Event Over 80 members of Masonic Mason-ic organizations and their partners met Saturday night for the annual Washington's Birthday Banquet of La Sal Lodge No. 33, F & A. M. The dinner, held in the Ma-son3c Ma-son3c Temple on 4th East and Sundial Drive, was prepared pre-pared and served by members mem-bers of Valiant Chapter 21, Order of -Eastern Star, assisted as-sisted by members of the Moab Job's Daughters Bethel. Beth-el. Featured speaker for the evening was Sam Taylor. Senior Warden of the Lodge, who spoke on Washington's reentry into public life following fol-lowing the end of his army career. Master of Ceremonies Ceremon-ies for the banquet was William Wil-liam Wallis. Junior Wardei of the' Lod'ce. Richard S. Parsons gave a brief talk on stamps commemorating com-memorating the first president. presi-dent. Master of LaSal Lodge, Bill Buchanan: and Worthy Matron ' Eula Griffin of the Eastern Star Chapter, were called upon to introduce their officers to the assembled assem-bled crowd. |
