Show BINGHAM WILL MAP FIRST CHEST DRIVE BINGHAM - Started nearly a year ago by the Lions club, the task of organizing a Community Chest In Bingham neared completion comple-tion Monday, with a meeting of 15 directors, appointed by business, busi-ness, civil and fraternal organizations, organiza-tions, set for 7 p. m. Meeting in the city hall, the directors will elect officers and plan their first fund raising drive. According to Earl T. James, present pres-ent chairman, approximately $3500 will be needed to care for the various va-rious groups represented. Through the chest plan, funds will be received re-ceived from all members of the community able to contribute, eliminating continual soliciting of business houses, as has been the custom In tha past, Mr. James said. |
