Show a relief client spending the taxpayers' money for the purpose of going out on a bender. Another point, on which the attorney general gen-eral was not so certain, was the question of use of relief money for the purpose of operating operat-ing an automobile. He declined to rule on the point but stated under some circumstances operation op-eration of a car by a relief recipient might be regarded as a necessity. Granted that possibility, still In the great bulk of cases where relief clients operate cars there Is no actual necessity. They could very well get along without an automobile. The experience of Cleveland, Ohio, 'where relief was cut off to all who refused to turn In their car license plates or prove necessity of op-eratlng op-eratlng a car, might serve as the basis for further fur-ther study of the car operation problem by Utah welfare authorities.
