Show Nine Car Prowls Investigated Nln cr prowl were Investigated Investi-gated Monday by detectives. K. D. Perkins, Ely, Nev., reported report-ed a thief broke a lock on his car door and stole two new tires, a pair of binocular and a camera from his automobile while It was parked on Walker place between 10 and 12 p. m. Sunday. Spare tires, wheels and tubes were reported stolen Saturday afternoon af-ternoon and Sunday by Leon Burn-ham, Burn-ham, 868 Emerson avenue; A. C. Wllkerson, 558 El ford court; Leon-art Leon-art T. Backus, 1713 Chicago street, and Albert A. Burgener, 949 East 3300 South street. Jesse A. Walton, 3298 South 300 WeaJ street, a guard at the Utah atate prison, reported theft of a amall camera and a pair of nickel plated handcuffs from the glove compartment of his automobile whil it was parked In the 500 block on South Main street. W. T. Parkinson of Spanish Fork reported loss of J1.50 from his wife's purse, which had been left In his automobile. R. Emerson Curtis, 2466 Highland High-land drive, complained that a thief stole an electric dashboard clock from his automobile while It was parked in the family garage. Dr. Donald D. Davis. 24 Fifth East street, reported both door handlea of his car and of at least four other automobiles were damaged dam-aged Sunday by thieves attempting attempt-ing to pry the doors open. |
