It was the first time the officers have been elected by direct vote. In previous years, G. Reid Sanderson, San-derson, principal, explained, "pupils voted for nominees, and from the six highest the faculty selected the 1 officers." I A primary election was conducted conduct-ed Tuesday. Victors In the primary pri-mary were: Head boy, Theodore Peterson and Reid Allsop; head girl, Mary George and Pauline Boyce; scribe, Carol Clark and , Ruby Lawson; captain of junior sheriffs.
