Show Utah Livestock Credit Group Renames Bergeson President E. Bergeson of Cornish, Csche county, was reelected president presi-dent of the Utah Livestock Production Credit association Wednesday Wed-nesday at the stockholders' annual meeting in the Newhousc nolel. D. H. Adams of Layton was reelected re-elected a director; Arthur Smith of Salt Lake City was reappointed secretary-treasurer, and Spencer Howell was renamed assistant secretary-treasurer. . In his annual president's address, Mr. Bergeson reported since the association was organized in 1934 it has lent In excess of $18,000,000 to livestock growers and farmers throughout the state. Total assets of the association at the close of 1939 were $1,837,256, with total liabilities lia-bilities of $1,189,342. Net earnings, after operating expense was deducted, de-ducted, amounted to $43,833. Approximately 100 stockholders attended the meeting. |
