Show Play School at Spanish Fork Pleases Pupils and Mothers SPANISH FORK Desirable habit and attitudes are being developed in at least 50 children of this city in one of the most popular and successful recreational projects ever carried on here. " The play school is being conducted con-ducted by Mrs. Dale B. Evans during dur-ing two two-hour periods daily at the Junior high school. Equipped with miniature lockers made from orange crates, play equipment, a phonograph, potted plants and even goldfish, the playroom play-room Is one of Interest to old and young. The school time is divided into periods for story telling, exercise, exer-cise, lunch, rest and play, while close supervision is kept on the conduct of each child. In connection with the school, an organization of mothers has been formed and meetings are held monthly by the group to discuss Individual In-dividual problems of the children, whose ages are 4 and S years, with the supervisor. The project is sponsored by the W P A, with the cooperation of the schools and the city. |
