Show FUNERAL HELD FOR ATTORNEY Associate Conducts Last Rites for Van Cott With B. R. Howell, an associate in his legal business, officiating, final rites for Waldemar Van Cott, 80, practicing attorney In Utah and surrounding states for more than 50 years, were conducted Wednesday Wednes-day at 1 p. m. at 574 East First South street. Mr. Van Cott died Monday at 3 a. m. at his home in the Belvedere apartment hotel, 29 South State at raal rl an iiaaM I nflrlonf tfi as CMS u ctti, u causes uiciucnk iu Mr. Van Cott was a native of Salt Lake City and for many years was a member of the board of regents at the University of Utah and later served as chairman of that body. He had been a member of several legal firms in Salt Lake City and at the time of his death was senior member of Van Cott, Riter A Farnsworth. He also had served two terms as president of the Utah State Bar. Pallbearers were Dr. George Thomas. P. T. Farnsworth Jr., Or-val Or-val Adams, Orson John Hyde, David W. Moffat. George H. Smith, J. O. Elton and I. A. Clayton Jr. |
