The board also directed the corporation cor-poration to employ two other miners min-ers found to have been discriminated discriminat-ed against In hiring because of their union membership. They, too, would be given back pay awards under the board's ruling. The company also was directed to cease Its alleged "discouraging" of membership in C I O's Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers' union, which tiled the charges of unfair labor practices before the board. The strike began June 10, 19.15, almost a month before the effective effec-tive date of the Wagner act, the board said, and continued until August 24, 1935. |
