Show MAN TO STAND TRIAL FOR 'INTERFERENCE' FARM1NGTON Sid Spencer, 1657 Princeton avenue, Salt Lake City, Wednesday pleaded not guilty to a charge of Interfering with an officer, at a preliminary hearing before Justice of the Peace Walter Hampton of Farmlngton, and was bound over to the Second district court. He Is free on $100 bond. Arrest of Spencer on December 23 by Deputy Sheriff Reed Oviatt was th aftermath of a traffic accident ac-cident on highway 91 about IV miles south of Farmington. Spencer, Spen-cer, his wife, and a small child were passengers in an automobile which collided with a truck parked at the right side of the road. Driver of the machine was said to be Glen Hastings, who gave th same address as Spencer. Spencer allegedly interfered with Deputy Sheriff Oviatt when the officer sought to Investigate the accident. The defendant, also charged with drunkenness, was ordered or-dered to enter a plea on that charge on February 15. |
