Show Club Activities . Continue In Spotlight By THE CXI B EDITOR October promises to be a busy month for clubwomen, for their activities are gaining Impetus as the season gets under way. Several Sev-eral social vents dotted the week end calendar with the tea for the Gold Star Mothers, which was held Sunday at the home of Mrs. Hyrum Done, 1320 Laird avenue, a high spot. Colorful fall flowers decorated the Done home for the occasion and assisting Mrs. Done were Mrs. O. F. McShane. Mrs. F. H. Thatcher, and Mrs. F. A. Miller. Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. Henry .1. Blood, Mrs. E. E. Monson, Mrs. D. S. Snyder of Park City, and Mrs. W. J. Backman. Assisting As-sisting them In serving were Miss Dorc'.he " ne and Miss Laura Darling. Dar-ling. Preserving the musical program were Mrs. Aurella Schimer. Mrs. R. W. Ashworth, and Virgil D. Murphy. Business Girts Entertain Fifty guests attended the tea the Junior Business Girls' club gave Sunday Tr"wn- sr-the-Alpha Delta PI sorority house, TO South Wolcott street. A yellow color scheme was carried out with chrvanthemums the chosen flowers and yellow tapers lighting light-ing the tea table. Miss Edythe A. Unsworth was in charge, assisted by Miss Dolly Woodhcid, Miss Marjorie Green, Miss Cards O. Rlgby, Miss Bessie Glenn and Mrs. Ray S. Birch. A mus' -I program was presented by Miss Marion Morr.'i, Miss Florence Bennion. Miss Dyca Anne Frlsby, Miss Stella O. Frlsby, Miss Marjorie Mar-jorie Woor'hesii. Miss Leone E. Holt ud Mirs Edith Holt. Catholic League Will Meet The Catholic Woman's league of Ogden will be in charge of the meeting of the Catholic Woman's league ft Salt Lake City when the group meets Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. at the Ladies' Literary club, 850 East South Temple street. The Ogdenltes, -r.der the direction of Mrs. J. Arthur Cummings. will present pre-sent a one act play. Mutual Plans Reception Mothers and daughters of Highland High-land stake Mustual Improvement association are to be honored Monday Mon-day evening at a reception at the Granite stake house, 1989 Ninth East street. Taking part In the program will be f.rs. Earl J. Glsde, Miss Lucile I. Chlpman and Mrs. J. Stuart McMasters. A group of Gleaner Girls will serve and an instrumental trio will present a program. In charge of the affair are Mrs. John Longden. Mrs. N. K. Amundsen, Amund-sen, Mrs. R. H. Wootton, Mrs. Eva O. Jensen and Mrs. Alice Christian. Bethlehem Shrine To Entertain Thursday evening at 8 p. m. members of Bethlehem Shrine No. L White Shrine of Jerusalem, will entertain with a bridge party at the home of Mrs. Sol Abbott, 1153 East Third South street Mrs. Alex J.
