He and his family left Paris September Sep-tember 7 and were fortunate In having- secured boat reservations months In advance. L D. S. Missionaries Arrive in New York Nineteen L. D. S. church missionaries mis-sionaries from four European mission mis-sion fields arrived In New York City Monday aboard the American ship Mormacwren, It was reported ' by the general church offices. Thirteen others, who arrived Saturday, were either reassigned to mission fields In the United States or are en route home, ac- " cuitllng to Juhnr H. Those who landed Monday were ' from the east and west German, the Cxecho-Slovakla and the Denmark Den-mark missions, and Included the following from Salt Lake City and vicinity: Harry Alvln Niebuhr, son of Mr. and Mrs. August H. Niebuhr of 1440 Roberta street; Paul H. Lambert, Lam-bert, son of Mrs. Edith H. Lambert of 265 Ninth avenue; Ralph Mark Lindsey, son of Mrs. Rose A. Lind-sey Lind-sey of 340 M street; Glen William Bird of Sandy; Asa el Moulton and David Powell Young of Heber City; Wynn Severlne Andersen, Brighem City; Reed Russell Allen, Hyrum; Verdell R. Bishop, Delta; Charles Jenkins Jr., Logan, and Sterling Grundy Callahan of Provo. Knight B. Kerr, son of Professor and Mrs. Walter A. Kerr, 132 University Uni-versity street,, arrived Saturday on the Manhattan. |
