Show Dept. Heads Visit Legion Auxiliary State and district officers of the American Legion Auxiliary made their official visit to the local lo-cal unit Monday afternoon in a meeting at Memorial Hall, conducted con-ducted by Mrs. Lois J. Child, unit vice-president. Talks on various phases of auxiliary aux-iliary activity concerning rehabilitation rehabil-itation of veterans, legislation for returned servicemen and general service rendered by the unit in general were given. Visitors includd Mrs. Nettie Hayes of Richmond, department president; Mrs. Roetta Kilfoil, department de-partment rehabilitation chairman; Mrs. Martha Stewart of Provo, third vice-president; Mrs. Hannah Mathews of Pleasant Grove, retiring re-tiring district president and Mrs. Irene Baker of Orem, newly elected elect-ed second vice-president of the district. dis-trict. Music for the meeting was furnished furn-ished by Sam Francis and Kay Whitney, who sang two numbers, accompanied by Naomi Boyer. Refreshments were served by the officers at the close of the meeting. |
