Richard is a graduate of Springville Spring-ville high school where he was active ac-tive in various music events. &music faculty, and is a popular guest conductor and adjudicator in the area. Ho founded the noted 80-voice choir. Members are chosen by careful care-ful audition. They have toured widely in the intermountain and coastal areas, and critics and musicians mu-sicians alike have hailed them for their flawless intonation, brilliant musicianship, and excellence of presentation. They have been chosen cho-sen twice to present nation-wide Local Student In Famed "Y" Choir . Richard Robbins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Robbins, 102 E. 3rd S., Springville, will appear with the Brigham Young University a cappella choir at their annual spring concert May 11 in Provo. Richard is a member of the bass section of the nationally-famous choir under the direction of Newell B. Weight, formerly of Springville, who has conducted top musical organizations or-ganizations throughout the country and is rated with the best choral conductors in the nation.
