Show 69 Students Vill ,; Jake Part In Jr. 'Mask Event A group of GO promising young musicians from Springville alon" with students from Spanish Fork and Payson, are entering the district dis-trict junior festival of the National Nation-al Federation of Music clubs at Spanish Fork Saturday. The event will take place in the forenoon beginning at 9 a.m., at the Palmyra Pal-myra stake house. An invitation is extended to parents par-ents of the students and the public pub-lic to attend. Eesides piano events, there will be vocal, string, woodwind and brass instrumental numbers. Solo and group dnacing will be demonstrated demon-strated and the finale number will be performed by forty young square dancers. Entrance in the festival range in ages from 7 to 18 years. Piano teachers whose students from Springville will enter the events, are Lucille Bird, Merle Schreiner, Zara Tonks, Elaine Puc-kett Puc-kett and George W. Fitzgerald of Provo. |
