Members ' Invited to National Meeting The Springville Chamber of Commerce is a member of the U.S. chamber and any member of the local organization may attend the 43rd annual meeting of the chamber cham-ber of the United States in Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, May 1, 2, 3 and 4, announces A. W. Cherrington, secretary. sec-retary. President Dwight D. Eisenhower will greet more than 3,500 delegates dele-gates at the first general session, Monday, May 2, in Washington's famed Constitution Hall. Delegates will also hear other top speakers on national and world affairs and will vote on policy declarations to guide the national chamber in the year ahead. Among the meeting's highlights will be a presentation of industrial developments now in the experimental experi-mental stage or on the drawing boards. Others who will participate on the four-day program will be Lester Les-ter L. Colber, president Chrysler Corporation; Clem D. Johnston, chamber president; Herbert Hoover, Hoov-er, 31st U. S. President; Sen: Harry F. Byrd; John L. Connolly, secretary secre-tary and general councel of the Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Manufac-turing Co.; Dr. Norman Vincent Peal, Marble Collegiate Church, New York; Carter Burgess, undersecretary under-secretary of defense for manpower; Frank B. Cliffe, vice president. H. J. Heinz Co.; and Fred Gurley, president of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad.
