Willis, who are developing the Pine Nut property near Cherry Creek. Recently Mr. Harrison, who Is operating In the district, discovered ahout a mile from town on ground that had been tramped over for years an ore body which Is said to be from sixty to seventy-five feet wide. The ore, which lies on a gran-ite-quartzlte contact, will average., near the surface, approximately 20 ounces In sliver. On the Harrison property a tunnel is being driven to cut at depth a promising vein. At the Pine Nut w-inter Quarters are being bulk and a shaft sunk on the vein. It is understood by Mr. Hussett that on the Harrison properly a tunnel is being driven at depth, both to tap the old workings and vein at depth and to afford transportation of ore to the Star mill. The Star mill is being- converted into a flotation plant. At the Exchequer property prop-erty about forty men are working, and at the Mary Ann from eighteen to twenty, in Black Metal canyon, or the Fletcher property, work Is being done steadily and shipments made. A great deal of prospecting pros-pecting and other development work is going on ail the lime, according 10 Mr. Ruasett. |
