Show W KILLED MEN AUTO JOLTS GUN Dr. T. B. Beatty, Riding in Same Car, Narrowly Escapes Es-capes Injury. Special to The Tribune. TREMONTON, Nov. 7. Paul Wallace, 10-year-old son of . G. Wallace of Riverside, was accidentally shot and instantly in-stantly killed yesterday afternoon while riding in an automobile with Dr. T. B. Beatty, secretary of the state board of health. The boy had been hunting ducka west of Tremonton and was given a rido by the Salt Lake physician. Ho was sitting sit-ting In the front seat with Dr. Beatty and his gun was resting on the running board of the machine. As the result of jolt, it Is believed, be-lieved, the weapon was disciiarged, the contents entering the boy's head, hilling him instantly. 'When Dr. Beatty heard the noise of the shot he thought it was from, some other rfngle and looked out of the opposite side of the car to ascertain what it was. He then turned toward his little companion and discovered, to his horror, that the boy was dead. The physician then hastened to this city with the body, which was turned over to an undertaking establishment. |
