Show INDUSTRIAL NEEDS OF UTAH INQUIRED INTO As the first step in a campaign for the establishment of new industries In Utah, the Utah Manufacturers' association is sending letters to the heads of manufacturing manu-facturing corn Danies in various parts of the state, asking their opinion on industrial indus-trial needs. J. S. Farley, executive secretary secre-tary of the association, said yesterday. A questionnaire relating to the disposal of American merchant ships built during the war and to the continuance of government gov-ernment shipbuilding yards has been received re-ceived by Mr. Farley from i he Chamber of Commerce of the L'n'ted States. It was requested that the members of the Utah Manufacturers' association vote on the various questions. The result of the vote and the suggestions of the various commercial organizations of the country will form the basis for a recommendation to be made to congress by the Chamber of Commerce of the United States. |
