Show ASSOCIATIONS WILL SUPERVISE AT TRAPS NEW YORK. Nov. 7. Trapshooting in the United States and Canada next year will be supervised by a joint committee commit-tee of ten members, five representing the amateur associations and five from the executive committee of the American Ameri-can Trapshooting association, which concluded con-cluded its annual meeting here today. The amateur representation comprises Jay Clark, chairman, Worcester, Mass. ; E. P. Mathewson, Anaconda, Mont. ; Samuel S. S. Foster. Mason City, Iowa; Ralph H. Spotts, New York; M. D. Hart. Richmond. Va. The other members are T. H. Keller. New York; J. L. Clark, New York; C. W. Hymer. Wilmington, Del.; J. L. Squler, Cincinnati; and F. G. Drew, New Haven. The committee will meet here December Decem-ber 2 to consider and formulate plans for the coming year. It is probable that the. countries will be divided into zones, with a representative of the association in each to take charge of scores and averages and to aid in conducting shoots. President E. R. Galvin of Wilmington. Del., announced today that it was the Idea of the American Trapshooting association asso-ciation that in time the amateurs could assume entire control of the sport. A resolution stating that no one shall be barred from competition without being given a hearing was adopted by the delegates. ( |
