Bear Lake, county soldiers will "be welcomed home at tho big Fourth-of July celebration celebra-tion to be staged here. A committee, of local business men. consisting1 of Harold Toomer, AV. B. Trowbridge, Charles D. Sinipsoif, L. C. Norrls and Frank Hoff has the invitations and entertainment in charg-e, and is planning on the biggest homecoming to soldiers in southern Idaho. T5 battery, 146th field artillery, left Coblenz, Germany, for home on May 25, after serving two years with the American Ameri-can forces, and is expected to arrive in its home town In time for the celebra-: celebra-: tion. About 200 former soldiers are already al-ready home and more are corning every day. Private Thomas C. Nelbaur, winner of the congressional medal of honor for distinguished bravery, will be one of the honored guests. |
