THREE UTAH CADETS IKE RIEOECBRDS Salt Lake High School Men Qualify as Sharpshooters at the Presidio. Hershey Rogers, Fred P. Stephens and Edwin C. Coffin of the Salt Lake high school unit of the reserve officers' training train-ing corps infantry camp' at the Presidio. San Francisco, Calif., have qualified as sharpshooters, according to word received from the camp. To become a sharpshooter one must score 12.3 points out of a possible pos-sible 150. There were -IS 2 cadets attending the rifle practice at Kort Barry. l4 of whom made the qualifications for sharpshooters, sharpshoot-ers, and ISO more scored above 110. which entitles then to be called marksmen. The fourteen men who will represent the Presidio at the national rifle matches at CaM well, N. J., next month will be selected from the sixty-one men who scored above 1 30 in the recent practice, by an elimination contest to be held July 30.
