PROPOSES YEAR'S PAY BONUS FOR FIGHTERS , By Universal Service. WASHINGTON, July 27. Representa- 1 five Baer of North Dakota has reintroduced reintro-duced his bill providing for a bonus of a year's pay for every man that served in the war. The Baer bill provides that the revenue to meet this expense be raised by sur- i taxes on incomes of $25,000 annuallv. He , estimates that $2,400,000,000 will be required re-quired to pay the proposed bonuses. ; Mr. Baer said tonight that he will ask i a hearing on his bill soon afLer the re- 1 cess of the house.
