Show KAISER'S ENTOURAGE NOW HOUSE-HUNTING (New York Times Cable, Copyright.) AMEROXGEX -July 27. Emissaries of the ex-kaiser are busily engaged on the very ordinary task of house-hunting. He wishes to leave the castle in which he is at present a paying guest and to have a house of his own where he can better attain his wish of becoming an ordinary private person, but some difficulty is being be-ing met In finding a proper habitation. Country houses, even in this land of lovely gardens, cannot be picked up at a day's notice, and, besides, the area of selection is limited to the province of Utrecht, the governor of which is virtually vir-tually his warder. The province contains con-tains many lovely country houses, but the ex-kaiser is experiencing the utmost difficulty in finding one suitable both for himself and the requirements of the Dutch government. It looks as if he will be obliged to stay longer in the village where he originally found refuge. Anyway, Any-way, one would have thought the housing question would have been left out until certain other decisions affecting his future fu-ture disposition had been taken. |
