PLANNING GREAT IRRIGATION CANAL Special to The Tribune. OGDTCN. July 27. The preliminary surveys sur-veys of the proposed irrigation canal from the Bear river are being made by S. P. Margetts, L. B. West and John Hinckley. The surveys will call for the building of dykes on the east arm of the lake about two miles southwest of Corinne. By pumping methods the water will be forced into canals which are planned to furnish water for Farr West, Plain City, Warren, West Weber, Taylor, Slaterville, Hooper and West Warren, fb is planned to divert the waters of Ogden river for the high-line canals. The surveys are being conducted by the city and county commissions, and are for the development of the 350 second feet filed upon Hear river by D. D. McKay this week.
