Ijogan leads Richmond by a margin of two garnet), wltl five to play with the strongest tennis in the league, while Kichmond has six games that are thought to be easier for them than those to be played by Logan, ltichinond leads Preston by a half pame, and these two .clubs will meet Wednesday at Richmond, so that a slntkeup may follow. Logan will meet Lewiston again twice this week, the first game coming on Wednesday at Logan and the second nt Lewiston nt the latter's ground. Lewiston is headed by Preston by a half pa me margin. Smithfield is a half game behind Lewiston and they will meet Wcllsville the coming week. Wellsvltle has practically been eliminated in the pennnnt scrap, having lost two-thirds of their panics, but the Irrigators are determined to get out of the cellar. They have six games yet to play. During the past two weeks the clubs have been strengthened greatly by heavers who are nothing less than class A caliber. As most of the clubs now have good pitchers, a tight race is sure to ensue.
