Show DEMAND EXPULSION OF SOVIET EMBASSY . NEW YORK, July 27. Deportation of A. C. K. Martens, head of the soviet bureau, bu-reau, and of Santeri Nuorteva, sect e-tary e-tary of the bureau, the accredited representatives repre-sentatives of Lenine and Trotzky in the United States. Is demanded of congress in a resolution adopted today by the trustees of the American Defense society. In a statement explaining its action, the society says evidence brought out by the L-usk committee shows that Martens was in direct communication with Le- nine, from whom he received large sums i of money. At the time of the seizure of his private papers by the Lusk committee he had large deposits In New York banks. Santeri Nuorteva is reported to be the friend of Trotzky. He came to this country coun-try as the Bolshevist ambassador from Finland. |
