Show BURKBURNETT OIL OUTPUT INCREASED , BURKBURNETT,' Texas, March 29. Due to the good weather and the more prompt delivery of oil well "supplies, the tide in the Burkburnett oil field has turned and a daily average increase was notPc in the production last week. The average daily production of the Burkburnett Burk-burnett field is now around 50,000 bar-rely, bar-rely, against about 49,000 the previous week. -The Wichita Falls oil field district dis-trict is now being credited with an average av-erage daily production of about 63,000 barrels, and this Is expected to show another increase next week, as the number num-ber of wells either on the sand or very near completion continuo to be rather numerous. In the Burkburnett field last week there were forty-four completions, with only two of these in the bad class. This showing is probably better than can be made by any other field in the nation by large odds, and the number of completions comple-tions the past week were only under the previous week by one. The initial or new production during the past week has been estimated at more than 8000 barrels, and the estimate can, be termed conservative, as it is claimed that some of the wells are better than they are given credit for. The pipe lino runs from the new Burkburnett field the past week showed an Increase of about SOCIO barrels over the previous week, the recent re-cent figures being 262,000 barrels for seven days' run. |
