Show OFFICERS NAMED FOR PERIHT CLINIC E. B. Critchlow Selected President of City Health Organization. Plans for the permanent organization of the Salt Lake Community Clinic and Dispensary have been completed by the committee appointed for that purpose and will be presented to the public for approval at a meeting to be held tomorrow to-morrow night at S o'clock in the Commercial Com-mercial club. A draft of the Incorporation of the new Institution has been drawn and the following fol-lowing officers have been elected: E. B. Critchlow, - president; David A. Smith, vice president; W. W. Armstrong, Secretary; Secre-tary; J. J. Burke, treasurer; Dr. A. J. Hosmer, managing trustee. The objects of the organization will be gone into fully at the meeting, according to H. N. Byrne, one of the men who took a prominent part In bringing about the forming of the proposed Institution. While the clinic will furnish teratment free of charge in certain cases, the officials of-ficials emphasize the fact that it is not to be an institution of charity, but rather a place where any person in need of medical or surgical help or advice, or who desires to obtain Information concerning the safeguarding of health, may apply. Aid will be extended without cost only when the cfrcumstances merit. Popular subscription and endowment will furnish the finances of the institution. insti-tution. A large number of well-to-do citizens have already signified a desire to endow one or more beds In the various vari-ous hospitals for the benefit of the clinic, and it is predicted by those in charge that as the movement becomes more j definite there will be enough money subscribed sub-scribed to fill all needs. |
