SHARP IDE LiTEiiCBLOlEL Promotion Comes While Former Salt Lake Physician Physi-cian Is on Rhine. The promotion of Dr. John F. Sharp from a major to a lieutenant colonel was announced in a letter received yesterday by Mrs. Sharp, 770 Ashton avenue. Dr. Sharp was formerly a physician in Salt Lake, leaving here in the fall of 1017 for Camp Kearny with the 159th field hospital, composed of Utah men. While stationed at Camp Kearny he was made commanding officer of the four field hospital hos-pital units of the Fortieth division. Lieutenant Colonel Sharp left for France with the Fortieth division in August, Au-gust, 191S. Shortly after his arrival overseas over-seas he was transferred to different organizations, or-ganizations, and is now attached to the Sith division, stationed along the Rhine. |
