The regular monthly meeting of the Home and School league will be held at 4:15 Tuesday afternoon in the council chamber of the City and County building. All presidents of the parent-teacher association as-sociation are requested to report by Monday Mon-day to "Miss Murray Schick, Hyland 4S1-M, chairman of the ticket committee of the Home and School league, on tickets tick-ets sold for '"The Fighting Roosevelts." Presidents and as many others as possible possi-ble are requested to attend the meeting Lo Le held in tho Commercial club Monday night for the purpose of organizing the Community Clinic association. Charter memberships may be obtained there. They will cost ?1. There will be a mass meeting Friday evening, April 7, in the assembly hail, when Miss Anna Davis, government rep-re rep-re sensitive of the division of labor, will discuss the "Back to the School Movement." Move-ment." Our new educational bill demands a return to school for all people under IS. Miss Davis will discuss the manner of schools we need to meet this law. We, in our parent-teacher association extension exten-sion classes have been going back to the school in large numbers. Franklin The Franklil Parent-teacher association and the Neighborhood house Mothers' club are uniting in their extension exten-sion class work. Dr. A. L. Brown, who is teaching the classes, is especially good and is giving a most helpful and practical practi-cal course. The classes meet every Wednesday Wed-nesday evening in the school house. Oquirrh The parent-teacher extension classes of the Oquirrh school will begin Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock in the civic recreation house. Professor J". R, Griffiths will lecture on "Recreation in Relation tr.5Physical and Moral Well-being." Well-being." After the class there will bo a social hour and light refreshments will be served. |
