Show ROAD PROGRAMME IS BEING OUTLINED Headquarters of an Important Import-ant Federal Department Will Go to Ogden. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Jan. 22. The establishment of ; headquarters jn Ogden for the federal aid for post roads and forestry roads is being i arranged for at an important conference ; being held in this city, which is at-i at-i tended by officials from Washington, San' Francisco. Denver and Ogden. The heari-j heari-j quarters in Ogden will be in charge of ! C G. Moriiwn, senior highway engineer ! of the office of public roads and rural en-j en-j gineering, who has been ill charge of the office at San Francisco. His assistants : have not been announced. Attending the conference in addition to Mr. Morrison are Assisiant Chief En-: En-: gineer W. Loder of the bureau of public i roads and rural engineering at Washlng-jton: Washlng-jton: A. Norcrons, assistant chief engineer of the forest bureau at Washington: B. J. I Finch, district engineer In charge of the ! office at San Francisco, and J. A. W.hit-' W.hit-' aker, district engineer in charge of dis-j dis-j trict No. i , with headquarters at Denver. I The conference is for the purpose of outlining the programme for the year for all the districts which will receive the federal aid. The headquarters hore will be established on February 1 in the Colonel Colo-nel Hudson building, rooms 403, itii and 405. |
