Show SCOTS AND WELSH TO STUDY DRAMA Under the auspices of the SaJt-Lake Scottish and Welsh societies, the Salt Lake Dramatic association has been formed, and all interested in amateur dra.matics are cordially invited to join. Harry Lauder has consented to become honorary vice president of the association, associa-tion, and Robert Mantell has been asked to become honorary president. The aims of the association are to bring before the community Scottish and other character plays. The first play to be produced at an early date, will be the famous Scottish opera-drama, "Rob Roy." The proceeds of this performance will be devoted to the "John Lauder Fund," for which Harry Lauder made ao earnest an appeal. A meeting will be held tomorrow evening eve-ning at fci o'clock, in room 314, Hooper buildinsr, for the purpose of completing the organization and assigning parte. |
