Show MILFORD MINES SHIP REGULARLY Work at Capitol Progresses Satisfactorily; Satisfac-torily; Shaft Down 110 Peet. Ore shipmenta aggregating better than 300 tons daily are being sent to the smelters smelt-ers by the mines in the vicinity of Mil-ford, Mil-ford, according to Manager J. M. Reynolds of the Capitol Mining company, returned yesterday from an extended visit to the district. Nine cars are spotted daily on the branch line near Milford, Mr. Reynolds says. Among the shippers from that particular par-ticular section are the Milford Copper, Old Hickory, Creole and the Lady Bryan. "I understand the Copper Ranch is shipping regularly also,"' said Mr. Reynolds, Rey-nolds, "but 1 have not been to the property for some time. The Copper Ranch now has an entirely new plant and is one of the best equipped properties in the Beaver county district." At the Capitol an efforts are being concentrated con-centrated on the shaft, which is now down 110 feet and in some highly promising mineral. The shaft was started near one wall of the vein, which shows a surface width of twenty-two feet at that point. Some of the best iron yet encountered has been disclosed recently, Mr. Reynolds reports. re-ports. It is the intention of the management manage-ment to continue the shaft to the 200 level before doing any drifting. |
