Show WILL PUSH FIGHT ON PREDATORY ANIMALS State Board of Examiners Consider Campaign of Extermination in Utah. An effort was made at a meeting of the slate board of examiners yesterday i to have a balance of $48,000 remaining in the bounty fund diverted to defraying expenses of destruction of predatory animals, ani-mals, the need for increased activity In tliis respect being emphasized by the requirement re-quirement to conserve all manner of foodstuffs food-stuffs for war purposes. It was .found, however, that the bounty fund being created by legislative enactment, enact-ment, only action by the legislature coidd serve to divert the money to the purpose desired. It was decided to carry on the cfiujnign as vigorously as possible under ycul cash resources, and when the ,Tunds shall be' in danger of entire exhaustion ex-haustion to provide some means of replenishment, re-plenishment, probably by authorizing a ' deficit for the state livestock board. Present at yesterday's meeting were the T(.iembers of the state board of examiners, (J3. Stewart, president of the state livestock live-stock board ; Dr. R. W. Hoggan, state livestock inspector; J. -W. Thorniey, representing rep-resenting the National Woolgrowers' association; George E. Jloiman, representing represent-ing the federal biological survey, and Joseph Jo-seph Ririe, state auditor. |
