Show KANSAS CITY POST PUBLISHER DIES; KANSAS CITY. Dec. 7. William M. j Barton, publisher of the Kansas City i Post, died of pneumonia at the research hospital here shortly after 1 o'clock today. to-day. He was 3-t years old and one of the youngest publishers In the United States. Ho had been ill ten days. Mr. Barton ' was born In Brooklyn, N. Y., and re- 1 ceived his education at West Point. His )' army career was cut short, however, bv Ill-health. He came, west and obtained I , his newspaper experience on the Denver ! Post and papers in Seattle and San Fran- ' Cisco.
