Show Oregon Short . Line Installs Hospital Car on Its Train Special to The Tribune POCVTKhho. Idaho. D,. S. passengers passen-gers traveling in Idaho on the Oregon Ore-gon Short Line have been well protected during the epidemic of influenza, which is si ill prevalent in many parts of the state. The Short hin.i has operated a fully equipped hospital hos-pital car ever its lines on the west end as far as Poise. The car at first was in charge of t wo profess. ona I nurses, and the company's physicians at the various stations alontf the line ait: subject to cail to board the car at o:iy time it passes their station. A legular day coach is used, the seats having been parllaiiy removed and replaced with beds. The car has handled about sixty cases of influenza without one loss on board. |
