Show PACKARD 10 SE1D HTQjMSB Twenty-five ' From Automobile Automo-bile Concern to Enter Training. Twenty-five office and factory employees em-ployees of the Packard Motor Car company com-pany will report at Plattsburg, N. Y., on August 10 to take the full four weeks' course in military training. They will receive re-ceive their regular pay while at Plattsburg, Platts-burg, and those who are entitled to vacations vaca-tions will receive them in addition. A special effort has been made to select men wiio are titled to become good soldiers. sol-diers. Prophylaxis treatment against typhoid feve. is given to the men at the factory before they start for the camp. The Packard company, early in Ihe summer, donated ten specially equipped trucks and a crew of twelve men to look after them and drive them, for us at Plattsburg. These have been kept busv doing the hruvy hauling for the cnmP and playing the part that the motor truck plays in actual warfare. |
