Structure Is to Replace Isis and Is to Be Thoroughly Thorough-ly Modern. ANOTHER new and up-to-date moving picture theater is on its way, and within a few months the new Deseret theater will be a reality and will take its place among the first-class amusement places of the city. Above is shown the theater front as it will appear after completion. The front elevation will be .built of rough texture, gokleu-brown brick laid up with buff-colored mortar and trimmed with cream-colored terracotta. The towers on either side of the building will be sixty feet hi-h at top of lipht ball and the panel in each column will be of bronze-colored bronze-colored glazed tile, with buff joints. On the east tower will hang the house electric sitru, while on the west tower will be the flag standard. A glass marquise will extend over the sidewalk across the full width of the entranae. The roof and cornice, supported on brackets, will be covered with heavy red clay tiling. Good Xighting, Plan. The large plate glass windows on the front will afford ample liht to the general gen-eral offices, private office and women's restroom and writing-room on the mezzanine mez-zanine floor. The illuminating- for the front and signs will be on original lines, and will prove most effective. Bronze bulletin boards on either side of the entrance will contain the notices of tho plays. The entrance lobby and foyer will be finished in tile, with marble mar-ble trimmings, and will be hung with elaborate draperies. The new theater is beins erected by the Dcseret Theater company, a corporation corpor-ation headed by H. A. Sims. Incorporation Incor-poration papers were filed yesterday with the secretary of state, and the erection of the building will be pushed to completion just as rapidly as possible. The theater will be located on the site of the lsis theater, the pioneer family theater of Salt Lake City, on Fast Broadwa v. The theater is being built strictly for pictures and when finished will have a seating capacity of 1200. The verv latest, up-to-date ventilation system will be installed, with a capacity to supply twenty cubic feet of fresh air per seat per minute, or 24.000 cubic feet of air can be circulated through the house every minute. A more extensive review will be cjiven as the house nears completion, ' but the builders give assurance tliat the ! house will have the very latest picture theater equipment, and that the interior finish will be carried out with exquisite taste and appeal, making it a place of comfort just what the promoters ex-1 ex-1 pert of tho house an ideal family picture pic-ture theater. The company forming the corporation corpora-tion are: II. A. Sims, president and1 manager; Herbert S. Auerbach, vice president; Levi N. Harmon, secretarv and treasurer. These, with II. J.
