Show I CLEVELAND WINS AND TIES WITH BROWNS CLEVELAND, O., Oct 4. Cleveland and St. Louis played a double-header today. to-day. Cleveland won the first game, 5 to 4. , Tho second game was called on account ac-count of darkness at the end of the eighth Inning, with the score tied, 0 to 0. St. Louis scored three runs and took the lead in the first inning of the first game- Austin singled. Austin went to third on Pratt's single and scored when Jackson threw past Tunlap, Pratt reaching reach-ing third. Walker singled, scoring Pratt. Sloan got an Infield single. Walker scored from second on Bisland's infield out. In the fifth they completed their total, AuBtln singling and taking third on two infield outs and then scoring on Sloan's single. Cleveland scored one run In the first Inning. Lelbold singled and took second on Austin's bad throw. He went to third on an out and scored on Lajole's single. After Graney had singled in the second he was forced by O'NeilL Lelbold then tripled, scoring O'Neill. In the fifth. Chapman's single, a pass to Jackson andLaJo!e's single added another an-other run. Cleveland took the lead In the seventh. Chapman walked, Jackson singled, sin-gled, Baumgardner made a wild throw to first and Olson singled.
