Show Carter's League Cycle Store .... MRS. A. DARTER, whoresho will have on exhibition the famous Indian motorcycle, and the Ivor Johnson and Ray-cycle bicycles. j Mrs. Carter lias cast aside all the old j business methods formerly used by the old, firm. She said tho business would retail! the name of Carter's League Cyclo store, but that she would be tho business manager in the future, and would conduct said business along mod-oru mod-oru lines. Tho success of the Indian during thq past year has been so wbndcrfully sat-isfactor3 sat-isfactor3 both to its, makers and, riders in evory direction in which a motorcycle motor-cycle can be npnjicd, that thero is little necessity for any great deviation froth the models of 1900. The loop frame model has proved most acceptable and satisfactory, both in tasteful appearance and in practical utility, as it is a moat perfect balanced machine and balance' means so much in comfort and ease of handling as to matorinlly rcduco tho fatigue of a long day's ride; and the j continuotis girder reinforcement, extend- I ing through tho cntiro frame, has strengthened it so materially that it is practically indestructible. Another feature of tho '00 model that has proved wonderfully njllciont nnd accomplished all that was expected of it, is the new mechanical valvo operating operat-ing mochanism, for it has increased the power of tho motor in a phenomenal manner, and during the past season the five-horsepower twin has frequently proved itself better than othor six and soven-horsopower machines.,. .. In every respect tho tests of the season sea-son have shown tho Indian to be the most satisfactory and efficient machine, not only in this country, but in England Eng-land also, where direct comparison alongside the most noted machines in the world in all of tho prominent competitions, compe-titions, both in long distance rond events and 'races of every kind, as well as in many strenuous hill climbs, tho Indian has proved itself without equal and won the admiration of both riders and the press.
