Show Y. M. C. A. Boys to Hold Second Annual County Fair Feb. 22 Tho boys of Uio Y. M. C. A. will hold l.hoir second annual county fair February 22, Washington's birthday. Just one year ago the members of tho Affiliated clubs conducted what was known as tho "Bingvillo County fair" and all who attended this fair will remember re-member with pleasure the enjoyment they had at that time. Tho fair tlus year will be conducted bv .1 group of boys known as thc ""Stickers." The following are members mem-bers of this organization, which has for its object the upbuilding of tho religious, re-ligious, physical aud social life of thc boys' department of thc Young Men's Christian association: Lester Parker. Walter Calto, Frank Ycamens, Fred Newell, Harry- Halion, Harold .Tones. Raymond Eogcrs and Dennis Aushor-mau, Aushor-mau, Tho plans have been under way for some time and the boys promise that the fair will be the best yet. Of course, no county fair would be a success suc-cess unless H had a name which would sot forth its promised grandeur, so at an early meeting of the boys' cabinet I the name, "Yvillc County fair," was Selected as (ho official title by which the fair will bo known. The monev taken in at the fair will go toward fixing up the boys' section rooiih Among tho various attractions' that will ''happen " in the afternoon and ovening, perhaps the most wonderful will be Count Fallin, who, a short time ago, demonstrated his ability as king of thc air, mastering the elements for at least tho distance across tho largo gymnasium in the association building. Count Fallin needs no introduction to tho people of Salt Lake, owing to the fact thr,t he so clearly demonstrated his ability just recently hero iu thc city. The boys feel that the fair would not bo a success without good things to cat, so they are planning on ice cream cones, "hot dogs" nnd tho only original "hobble house" in the cily. Knowing that tho people of Salt Lake City Uko moving pictures, inside the fair grounds there will be what is known as thc "Is Not Moving Picture show." At this show the highest -class films in thc city will be run. Other attractions will koep one busy in thc afternoon and evening. Tho minstrel show will bo thc placo for tho auditors audi-tors to laugh and grow fat. The Punch and .ludy show will be pleasing for tins youngor folks. Of course, tho fair would not bo complete unless tho fathers and mothers aro there with their children, chil-dren, or without the fond lovers and the fair maidens. Fatty Jones and his corps of policemen police-men will patrol the grounds at all hours. |
