Show Establishments at Knysvillc Kail lo Reaeli Standard in Scoring. COMMISSIONER WILL TAKE ACTION IN OTHER CASES Attempt Will W, Made to Prevent Pre-vent Wholesale Firms Receiving Re-ceiving Milk. As a result of a scoring of soveral dairies at Kaysville Friday by City Food and Dairy Commissioner Waller I'razier, at least two tin tries- will have their permitB to sell milk in this city revolted on account of not being able to c.omo up lo tho standard in regard to tbo score. W. I. .Jamison has been gel ting rath-or rath-or lax in regard to conditions about his dairy since the previous scoring last December, it is said, and as a result ho will bo deprived of his permit on Monday. When IWr. Fra.ior visited the Jamison dairy in December t ho score was 01, which is ono point above the standard required. When the place was visited Friday the commissioner found that Jamison had not boon taking good caro of his cows and the conditions about his barn were filthy, tho commissioner com-missioner says. Tho result is that the score this time was only '!0., which is below the standard, hence tho permit will be revoked. The dairy operated by Frank Gailey showed some improvemeii! over the D tic-ember scorn, but it is still below the standard and his permit will also be revoked. In December his dairy scored 'M points and the result of tho scoro on Friday was -15 points, which is five bolow tho standard. Tho dairy of John O'ailoy was not scored on account of the fact, that he intends to quit the business. The George Oponshaw dairy was .just a half point to tho good, as it scored GOV2, so ho will be given a permit. Some of Ihe Kaysville and Farming-ton Farming-ton dairies which havo been denied permits per-mits have continued to ship milk into tho city, according to Mr. Crazier, and it is quito likely that there will bo something dono to stop the wholesale linns from receiving such milk. Somo action will bo taken in the matter on Alonday. |
