Show BURGLAR RIS ROME OF OR. M. R. STEWART Valuable Silver Is Secured While the Family Is Absent. The home of Dr. Murray R, Stewart. 1-" West Fifth South street, wna entered by a burglar about U:30 o'clock last night and 100 worth of silver and Jewelry Jew-elry was taken. The burglar was frightened fright-ened away and in his hasty retreat left lying on thu floor a heavy solid silver coffco pot. The burglar entered by "Jimmying" 'a window on the east side of tho house. He had at llrst tried his "Jimmy" on the back door, but It evldontly had not yielded to his efforts. A servant girl was asleep upstairs but said that she heard nothing. Mrs. Slcwart had been sitting on tho porch for some time and left the houso about 9:30 o'clock and walked down the street a short distance with a neighbor woman. When she relumed re-lumed she started to enter the house and noticed a match on the stairway. On going upatho stairway she found a door open that should have been closed and several Indications that somoone had been In the house. In her 'bedroom she found tho dresser drawers turned topsyturvy topsy-turvy and a watch, valued at 575. which had been a Christmas present, from Dr. Stewart to her In 190-', was gone; also a chock, which was not indorsed, and about 510 from a purse that was hanging on the wall.
