Show HURLED AGAINST TREE; IISEIUSLTIST Brothers Thrown From Buggy When Horse Runs Away; May Die. Special to The Tribune. .RICHFIELD, July 5. The moat serious accident witnessed here In years occurred at the crossing of Main and Center streets at about 10 o'clock yesterday morning, when a horse driven by the Antoun brothers became frightened at firecrackers ami ran uway. One of the lines broke and the horse mado a quick turn, throwing tho occupants occu-pants against a true, one behind the other, with so much force that both roy celvod fractured skulls. Both fell Into the ditch and the water ran red with their blood. A. S. Antoun received the most serious injuries.' as the flesh from the side of his head was torn away and his skull fractured. Joseph Antoun, his younger brother, received a fracture of tho skull and minor Injuries. Hope for his recovery Is entertained, but the indications are that A. S. Antoun's Injuries will be fatal. The men aro unmarried. They were employed at one of the neighboring settlements set-tlements and came here to spend the Fourth. They have relatives at Ogden who have been Informed and will arrlvo here today. |
