Among those who will leavo this morning morn-ing from Salt Luke arc .r. W. Collins, district deputy grand, exalted ruler: A. ,i Dav,p-, former grand esquire of the nilo a,lul, G. Romncy. delegate from the jjnlt Lake lodge to the grand lodge reunion. The special car containing the Utah Elks will go over the Short Line to Ogden. thence' east to Chicago, via the Union Pacific and the Milwaukee, where it will Join a special train of Elks leaving leav-ing Chicago Saturday afternoon. The special will arrive at Atlantic City Sun-nay Sun-nay noon. The Ltnh Elks will work at the grand lodge for the election of Col. C. L. Apple-gate Apple-gate of Salt Lake to the board of grand trustees of the grand lodge. Colonel Applegate has been a member of lho grand lodge for several vears and has been Indorsed for grand trustee bv the lodges of several slates. His friends fcol confident that he will bo elected. Elks from Utah and other western states will, also urge that the grand lodge designate Portland- Or., as the location for the next grand lodge reunion. Baltimore wanted the next reunion, but It Ik understood that Baltimore will withdraw with-draw for one year and invite the grand lodge of 1913 to meet in that cltv. |
