Tho anniversary of the birth of tli6 t nation has very appropriately been se- n lected as the time for dedicating tho j If corner stono of the new home for the v ft Salt Lake Commercial club, now under I iu course of construction at the corner of U Exchange Place and Cactus street. Of- f 8 (leers of the club call attention to tho j importance of the undertaking and it ? is known that tho entire community 1 is regarding with satisfaction the con- f summation of efforts to provide a suit- ablo home for tho club, one that shall 'ft be worthy the important standing of tho organization, not only in tho citj- and ) state but iu the entire intcrmountain f countr3' as well. The exercises will be dignified in the l extreme and marked with all tho sim- phcity which befits a celebration in ' honor of the founding of a cifitzens' s club, but distinguished by such fea- 1 tures as ma' fittingly commemorate tho 'i importance of the occasion and make tho affair something which can bo re- meinbercd by tho citizens. Foundation Completed. The foundation of the building has t been practicall- completed. The corner stone is ready to bo lowered into place ?i and a platform has been erected .-just ? over the lower portion of the frame- I work to serve as a speaker's rostrum. i Members f tho club will gather at the preset Commercial club building li ou West Temple street at 9:o0 o'clock and will proceed iu double column 1 through Second South to Main street, J: thence south on Main street to Ex- 1 change Place and to the site of the new f building. The column will be escorted ' by a full platoon of police aud Hold's j band. Officers of tho club, members of . the board of governors and important personages of .the city and state will lead tho main body of members.
