Sales amounting amount-ing to more than $2-1,000, mostly in small anicninls, wore reported for tho week by A. Kichter. as follows: J. D. Giberson purchased pur-chased a six-room modern residence on Fourth South from Mrs. Ada Clark; Will (.'iiliner purchased a building lot on Kighth South, near Sixth East, with a frontage of fifty feel; .1. Fakin a modern four-room cottage: .Joseph House purchased a building lot with a frontage of fifty feet on Laird avenue from Charley Christenscn, and Mr. Shoemaker of Los Angeles purchased pur-chased o lot on State street, between Fifth and Sixth South. This latter property has a frontage of ll'j feet and a depth of 105. The purchase pur-chase price, 7250, is about $175 por front fool. The purchase was made for investment purposes. Tho ITubbard Investment; company reported re-ported the market active in building lots, with numerous homeseekcrs look-about look-about for investments. During the past week, seven lots were sold in the new Fairmont Park addition, just below Twelfth South, near the Sugar House section; fivo lots in Oakley Park, two building lots in Lake, Breeze and four lots in Fast Waterloo addition. Something of the manner in which trading is clone here is shown by a recent sale of a house 1)3' the Hubbard Investment company. Mrs. Lydia Lynch listed her Jiou'so with a member ol tho company at the outing at Salt-air, Salt-air, "Real Estate day. This firm reports the market activo in properties of small value, especially building lots and homes. K Despite tho hot weather of tho pant week, real estato activity was general on tho southonst bench. All of the dealers in that locality reported many sales. Among these was A. X. Humphries, Humph-ries, owik-m- of Idlewild addition, who sold twenty-five lots during tho weok. The purchases were made for investments invest-ments for the most part, although several sev-eral of tho investors arc planning the orection in Hie futuro of residonc.es. With these plans being mado, sovoral fino residences going up, moro contracted con-tracted for and a great deal of work on the part of a force of teams and workmen making roads and sidewalks, the addition presents a lively scene.
